Prep School Round Up (January 26th)

Western Mass — On Friday, the Williston Northampton boys’ squash team began the week with a 3-4 loss to visiting Avon Old Farms. Ryan Kim, Robert Gilbert, and Dave Fontaine recorded wins for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats faced the Berkshire Bears on Wednesday. The Bears were eager for their first win; however, their quest remained unfulfilled. Williston shutout Berkshire 7-0 and won each match in three games.

Berkshire’s girls opened the week with a 1-6 loss to Suffield Academy. Courtney Kollmer (#1) continued her successful season by recording the team’s sole victory. On Wednesday, the Bears evened their record at 4-4 by beating Canterbury 5-2.

Friday, January 20th:
Avon Old Farms defeats Williston Northampton B, 4-3

Saturday, January 21th:
Suffield Academy defeats Berkshire G, 6-1
Millbrook defeats Williston Northampton G, 6-1
Exeter defeats Deerfield B, 7-0
Deerfield G defeat Westminster, 4-3

Wednesday, January 25th:
Williston Northampton B defeats Berkshire B, 7-0
Berkshire G defeat Canterbury, 5-2
Miss Porter’s defeats Williston Northampton G, 7-0
Westminster defeats Deerfield B, 7-0
Exeter defeats Deerfield B, 7-0
