Northampton, MA — Over the weekend Mount Holyoke College and Smith College co-hosted the annual MHC/Smith College squash tournament. The host teams were joined in Northampton and South Hadley by Amherst, Colby, Connecticut College, Hamilton, Haverford, Middlebury, Tufts, Vassar, Wellesley and Wesleyan.

The Mount Holyoke Lyons lost all four of their matches: Connecticut College, 2-7; Colby, 1-8; Tufts, 3-6; and Hamilton, 4-5. Pam Anckermann (#1) continued her collegiate successful by recording 4 victories.

The Smith College Pioneers also had a challenging weekend, losing all four of their matches: Middlebury, 0-9; Conneticut College, 0-9, Colby, 0-9; and Tufts 1-8. Jenn Rect (#1) recorded the Pioneers’ sole victory.
