MHC Players at Constable Invitational Tournament

Princeton, NJ — Mount Holyoke College’s Pam Anckermann (’09) and Menusha Hettiarachchi (’10) joined players from Trinity College, Princeton University, and the University of Pennsylvania at the Constable Invitational Women’s Squash Tournament at Princeton University this weekend.

In the A draw, Anckerman lost in four games to UPenn’s Paula Pearson, the 2005-2006 season’s 15th-ranked player. In the consolation draw, she beat Trinity’s Joeanne Jee in three games and Princeton’s Carly Grabowski (2005-2006′s 37th-ranked player) in four games. Anckermann lost to Casey Riley (2005-2006′s 20th-ranked player) in the consolation finals.

Hettiarachchi defeated Kim Palterman (Trinity) and Veda Dhaul (Trinity) in the B draw. She also lost to Kaitlin Sennat (Princeton) and Anina Nolan (Princeton).
