Middletown, CT — This weekend Smith College and Mount Holyoke College competed in the annual Wesleyan Tournament. They joined Bates, Connecticut College, Middlebury, Tufts, Wellesley, Williams Smith, and host Wesleyan.

Mount Holyoke College defeated William Smith (7-2), Conn College (8-1), and Wellesley (9-0). The Lyons lost a close match to tenth-ranked Bates (4-5). Mount Holyoke is 5-1 going into the semester break. (Mount Holyoke Press Release)

Smith College lost its matches to Middlebury (0-9), Tufts (0-9), and Conn College (1-8). In the team’s final match the Pioneers lost a close match to Wellesley 4-5. (Smith Press Release Day 1 and Day 2)
