Hartford, CT — This weekend Amherst and Williams participated in the annual NESCAC Championship. On the men’s side Williams defeated Hamilton 9-0 and Bates 6-3. The Ephs lost to Trinity College 0-9 in the finals. Amherst beat Bowdoin 6-3 to open the tournament before losing to Trinity 0-9 in the semi-finals.

On the women’s side, Amherst defeated Tufts 9-0 before losing to Trinity 0-9 in the quarter-finals. Amherst lost to Middlebury 3-6 and Hamilton 4-5 to finish in eighth place. Williams lost to Trinity in the finals to finish the tournament in second place.
