Boston, MA — Amherst men’s and women’s teams opened its 2007 -2008 squash season with 8-1 victories over host Northeastern. In the victories, first year students played a key role for both Amherst teams.

For the women, Alexandra Dalglish (#1), Caitlin Demkin (#5), and Hayley Milbourn (#2) won their debut matches. Milbourn beat Sara Barrett in five games.

First years Kevin Cecala (#5) and Tom Rapisarda (#3) each opened their college careers with 3-1 victories.
