Prep School Wrap Up (February 1st)

Western Mass — January ended with a flurry of prep school squash matches. On the 23rd, Berkshire’s boys traveled to their local rival Williston Northampton. The Wildcats cruised to victory, 7-0.

Deerfield’s girls played the Taft Invitational on January 26th. Without their senior co-captain Maggie Hines, the team lost to both Taft and Greenwich. Co-captain Kelly Mulrow, Charlotte Dewey, and Seldy Gray each won matches against Taft.

Also on Saturday, Hotchkiss beat Williston Northampton. Steve Schoder and J.J. Lee won matches for Williston Northampton. The girls’ team visited Canterbury. Sarah Fay, Amy Cha, Cindy Young, Natasha Jones-Sikes, and Dan Bi Kim captured matches to propel Williston Northampton to a victory.

On Wednesday, the Williston Northampton boys beat Suffield 4-3 to avenge their early season loss to the Tigers.

Williston Northampton (G) @ Canterbury, 5-2

Wednesday, January 30th:
Millbrook @ Berkshire (B), 5-2
Berkshire (G) @ Millbrook, 1-6
Deerfield JV @ Williston Northampton (G), 0-7
Williston Northampton (B) @ Suffield, 4-3
