Smith's Oliverio and Wellesley's Hu

Northampton, MA — On Saturday, the second annual Women’s College Squash Championships were held at Smith College.  Players from Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Wellesley competed in an individual tournament with A, B, C, and D draws.  Each individual’s victory earned her team points.

In the A draw finals, Pamela Anckermann (MHC) defeated Laurian Lue Yen (MHC) in three games. Kasia Kolodziejczak (MHC) defeated Margaret Oliverio (Smith) in the finals of the B draw by a score of 3 to 1. Wellesley’s Kirsten Levandowski won the D draw by beating Smith’s Sarah Lentz.

Overall, Mount Holyoke finished first with 47 points, Smith finished second with 42 points, and Wellesley finished third with 37 points.
