Quick and Dils played to five games, with Dils ultimately taking the match.

Michael Bello, who lost to Quick in last year’s 4.0 plate finals, opened with a 3-0 loss to Williams’ Jeremy Herrmann in the 4.0 draw. After Herrmann won the first two games decisively, Bello battled back in the third, improving to a 6-9 loss. In the consolation, Bello faced Bernardo Feliciano of Topsham, ME, who won 3-0.

New Haven, CT — Yesterday the 2007 Women’s National Team Championship concluded. The four Western Mass squads all had solid showings.

In the Howe Cup (A Division), Williams lost its opening match to the University of Pennsylvania. The Eph’s number one player, Toby Eyre, lost to Kristin Lange in three games. Lange is on the cover of February issue of Squash Magazine for winning the US Junior Open Under 19 division.

Williams rebounded to beat Dartmouth 5-4. This was the Ephs first win against Dartmouth in six years! Toby Eyre (#1), Ashley Eyre (#2), Kate Whipple (#3), Jennifer Coxe (#4), and Ridhima Raina (#9) recorded the team’s victories. Raina was the sole victor in Williams 1-8 loss to Trinity. The team finished the tournament in sixth place.
