Tim Bacon, the Smith College squash coach, is currently recovering from hip surgery. At the recent Women’s College Squash Championships, Bacon was able to watch his players live via Skype, an Internet phone and video service.

The second annual Women’s College Squash Championships were held at Smith College. Players from Mount Holyoke, Smith, and Wellesley competed in an individual tournament with A, B, C, and D draws.
