Mount Holyoke College recently named Allen Fitzsimmons as its varsity squash coach. Fitzsimmons, who takes over from Pam Saunders, chatted with Western Mass Squash on his first day of practice.
Pam Saunders is leaving Mount Holyoke and joining the coaching staff of the Yale Bulldogs. She will join head coach Dave Talbot and Associate Head Coach Gareth Webber as an assistant coach for the women’s team.
Today, the final women’s College Squash individual rankings for the 2007 - 2008 season were unveiled.

Princeton, NJ — On the final day of the 2008 Women’s National Team Championships (Howe Cup), Williams defeated Cornell to capture the Kurtz Cup (B Division). Toby Eyre, Williams’ number one player, defeated Cornell’s Rachel Wagner in three games. The Ephs finished ninth in the tournament overall.
