UPenn Defeats Amherst and Williams

Philadelphia, PA – On Saturday the University of Pennsylvania hosted Amherst College’s men’s team and the Williams College men’s and women’s squads.

The fourth ranked UPenn men beat both eleventh-ranked Amherst and eighth-ranked Williams 9 - 0. Amherst’s Andrew Slutsky and Jerome Giovinazzo won their team’s sole individual games. Williams fared slightly better with George Miller, Tyler Kyle, and Cameron Henry taking their matches to 5 games.

The eighth ranked Williams women lost to top-ranked UPenn 0 - 9. Kate Whipple and Caroline Henry recorded individual game victories for the Ephs.

On Sunday, the Williams men’s team continued their road trip to Annapolis. The Ephs defeated the Naval Academy 6 - 3.
